MINI TIPS for DIVE BUSINESS SUCCESS SERIES–Tip #23

When a customer walks in to your dive shop and asks for a product that you don’t currently have in stock. DON’T SAY: “I can order it for you.” DO SAY: “I can have it at your house by Thursday.” OR  (next best option) SAY: “I can have it here for you on Wednesday. There is no obligation if you don’t like it when it comes in.”

This is an “I want it now” world. If I cannot have it now, I want to know when it is coming and it better be soon. This small change in wording  can keep your customers from going online and ordering it off the web.
